Life on Other Planets (L.o.O.P.)
is a live electronic band and a shifting constellation of live electronic music artists. Influenced by psychedelic 70s rock, UK jazz, and the modern sounds of electronic club music, L.o.O.P. manipulates a spaceship’s worth of analog and digital instruments to transport you to another world. Best experienced in person, their mesmerizing live act is largely improvised: no two performances are the same.
Founded in 2024, L.o.O.P. is: James Fish (drum machine, synths), DAEDE (vocals, synths, effects), and Simon Hoffmann (cello, keys), joined by a rotating cast of talented instrumentalists and vocalists.
